I am an experienced personal and executive assistant. I have been a PA for various clients for several years as well as an executive assistant more recently in 2020. Here to help with general organisation and the day to day running of your business. Diary management, data management and filing, liaising with clients, email assistance and much more. I have lots of experience in booking travel and accommodation while sticking to a budget. I’m happy to help out with anything that will help your business run smoothly each day.
As part of my role with Make Do I spend a lot of time on WordPress. This has meant for multiple clients I have populated their entire site with content, some times completely fresh other times working from designs. I have an in depth knowledge on adding/creating content for both WordPress and Squarespace
I consider myself to have excellent customer service skills, both in person and over email and phone. I have worked many hospitality jobs over the years and more recently an assistant manager of a restaurant. This has given me an excellent insight into how an independent business is run and also what customers want and expect.
My skills are not limited to what is listed here. I’m someone who wants to help and to get the job done so if it’s something I can do, I’ll do it. I’ve worked for many wonderful companies and have acquired many wonderful skills so however random a request may seem just ask! I may just happen to know all about it.
I have an extensive knowledge of video and photo editing and this is something I do for many of my clients. This includes editing screen recordings with separate audio for tutorials and footage from conferences. I have experience using software systems including Final Cut Pro, Adobe Premiere and Adobe Photoshop. You can see examples and read more about my video editing skills here.
During 2020 I made the most of the lockdown period by expanding my knowledge of social media marketing. I attended an excellent workshop by Anh Nguyen as well as attending the Festival of Marketing. Prior to this I was a professional dancer and singer. As a performer I have always had to be aware of what I put out on social media. This means I have acquired a strong understanding of various social media platforms (Twitter, Instagram, Facebook, etc.) and how best to use these to promote your business. I have also used my photography skills and editing skills in the past to help with posting content to get the public excited about a product a business has to offer.
I was previously a junior project manager for Make Do, a WordPress agency. This has given me great skills working within a small remote team, gaining clients and working on relationships, and experience in QA and site testing.
I work as a bookkeeper for a small business managing their receipts via Xero. I completed a year course with The Open University to give me a better understanding of bookkeeping and accounting. I have also completed several short courses with Xero which have given me a strong knowledge of this software.
