Video Editing

Through the years I’ve been hired more and more for my video editing skills, editing for people like Rachel Andrew, SmashingConf & Smashing Magazine, Visualising Data and SitePoint. I have really developed my skills and have worked on some tricky yet rewarding projects over the years. I’m happy that this is now my area of expertise and I can proudly display some of the projects I have worked on below.

Explore Explain Season 2 Guest Wall

My most recent project has been editing and producing the Explore Explain Series, Season 2 & 3. You can read more about my experiences and view the work here!

Video Editing and Voiceover Work for Noko Time

I worked with Noko on a large project and part of that I needed to film, edit and record the voice over for several tutorial videos. Above is an example of one of the short “how-to” videos and many more can be found on their YouTube page.

Video Editing for new Adventures Conference for SitePoint

"I recently worked with Beth on a video editing project: getting many hours of raw conference footage and slides into a format that would work well on our site.

I think she did a great job with the videos, had a fast turnaround, and responded to feedback promptly. I'm very happy with the result. I'd be more than happy to work with Beth on similar projects in the future." - Simon Mackie, SitePoint

Video Editing for Smashing Magazine

I have been lucky enough to do lots of work for the Smashing team. Above is a short promo video I did for their Smashing memberships but I have also edited conference footage, workshops, webinars and much more.

Video Editing for SmashingConf

“During a conference I was producing, we encountered severe issues with our video recording. The only way to fix it was by piecing footage together after the event. I'm thrilled I approached Bethany for this project as she was not only able to piece together hours of footage and data but made it look like no issue ever happened. Plus, she was a wonderful communicator and consistently kept me up to date on her progress, her ideas to make things work, and how to create a wonderful product.” - Amanda Annandale, SmashingConf
